Out of the Mouths of Babes

My granddaughter was an early talker.  At barely the age of 2 years, she was forming words and learning her numbers.  Her favourite stair climbing game was to count, but not in the usual way; her favourite ‘counting’ was to say 3-6-9 over and over again.  That’s how she counted

(now, at the age of 4, I am pleased to report that she can now count to 100 - such a clever girl).

3-6-9 is a significant number combination in different ways.

First, 3+6+9 adds up and reduces to 9.   3+6+9=18 => 1+8=9

Putting any two of the numbers together and adding the third number also always adds up to 9.

For example:

36+9=45;  4+5=9

63+9=72; 7+2=9

69+3=72; 7+2=9

39+6=45; 4+5=9

96+3=99; 9+9=18; 1+8=9

In Numerology

3 represents playful optimism, creativity and creation.

It is harmony manifesting in the physical sense and the harbinger of something new about to happen.  

Creation is the birth - of a child, a new endeavour, a new perspective, a new career and the list goes on and on.

The 3 vibration channels your creative energy along a particular path.  It is also harmony between the body, mind and emotions.

Even in the midst of chaos, just wanting harmony and creation is taking action to bring it into your life and support you. 

3 helps you move past any doubts you may have about your own creative potential.

6 brings the vibration of love and trust which is the opposite of our traditional association of 6 as the number of the devil.  Getting from devil to love really calls on us to “meet and move through our fears and intolerances” according to Alana Fairchild (Messages in the Numbers, pg 142)

The overall message with 6 is that it is love, nurturing and healing coming to you from the Universe which wants you to succeed.  It really does.  

6 lives from the guidance of the heart and goes straight to the 4th in-body Chakra, the heart, considered the source of our innermost desires and dreams and the centre of the human body (Cyndi Dale, The Complete Book of Chakra Healing, pg 59-60) It expresses the beauty of life and, yet, is conscientious and honourable, motivated by a sense of duty.

9 is the final number in the numerological sequence.  Carrying all the qualities of the numbers 1 through 9, it has wisdom and compassion (adding up the numbers 1 to 9 gives you 9).   9 represents endings and also is followed by 1. In this way, it is also the gateway to a new chapter.

9 prompts you to ask yourself “What am I ready to release to make room for something new and greater?”  Here comes the dreaded S-word.  That’s right.  Surrender.  9 asks you to surrender to the process.

Maybe it would be less scary if we say to trust in the process but it all adds up to the same thing which is accepting what the Universe is sending your way with the knowledge and trust that it is for your best outcome.

9 also vibrates with compassion because change can be difficult and here is where I like to say The Universe has your back

Nikolai Tesla understood that the Universe speaks to us in the language of numbers and he believed 3-6-9 was key to understanding this.To many, it is a code for connecting to the Divine.

Tesla and Manifestation

The 3-6-9 manifestation is often credited to Tesla as he held these numbers sacred.  He stated that “If you knew the magnificence of the numbers 3,6,9, you have the key to the Universe.” 

In electrical engineering, 369 is used in a variety of applications.

If you’d like to do the 369 Manifestation, it goes like this:

1.  Decide what you’d like to manifest and describe it with words that express energy and emotion.  Always start your statement with gratitude and state it in the present tense - as if it has already manifested.

       for example:  I am so thankful for the abundance and love that my new job as a __________ at ___________ has brought into my life.

2.   Write this statement 3 times in the morning, 6 times at midday and 9 times at night.

3 is where trust, faith and surrender come in.  Your affirmation is now in the very capable hands of the Universe so leave it there.  Forget about it. I like to burn mine as a gesture of releasing my intention to the Universe.   Dwelling on it everyday has the opposite effect of manifestation.  

I personally like to do the 3-6-9 manifestation on a New Moon.  As an added boost, I will gear my desire to match the numerological vibration of the new moon date.  For example, if the new moon date has a 2 vibration (harmony, relationships) then my manifestation will be to improve/create a relationship or create a harmonious environment etc.

The next new moon falls on February 9 at 5:59 pm Eastern Standard Time.  In numerology, the  1 energy of the day will peak at noon.  This means your affirmations would go something like this:

write 3 affirmations in the morning; write 6 affirmations midday; write 9 affirmations in the evening.

The energy of this moon is a 1 for new beginnings, new ideas, independence and confidence.  This is a great energy for speaking your own truth.
