The Universe has your number with Numerology

It would be impossible to think of what our lives would be like without numbers; they are  part of the foundation of our society- a language in itself. Even before formal numerical  systems were developed the concept of numbers existed. Our earliest ancestors  understood that ‘six’ of something was more than ‘one’ of that same thing. 

You need  look no further than your hands for the earliest counting tools. 

Numerology is a branch of mysticism that studies the meanings of numbers and how  they are relevant to our lives. It is a tool that can help develop a deeper understanding  of ourselves.  

Pythagoras was an ancient Greek philosopher who lived around 570 - 495 BC and he is  credited with introducing numerology to the Western World. It is believed that he and  his students used mathematics solely for mystical purposes, and that he believed that  numbers and mathematics were essential to understanding the universe. 

His style of numerology is known as Pythagorean Numerology and is the most popular  style practiced in the West.  

Every thing, every thought, every word spoken is a form of energy and, as such,  resonates at its own unique vibration. 

Numerology is based on the premise that each number has its own vibration - and vibrational  frequencies contain data and encoded information.  

This belief may sound like it requires a leap of faith until you look at that small,  rectangular device in your hand and begin to realize that we are surrounded by invisible  vibrational frequencies already. Cellphones, satellites, the wireless cloud and even gravity all operate on frequencies.  Where would we be without them? 

So, even though this idea of numbers (and letters) having unique vibrations goes  beyond our everyday perception of numbers, you may intuitively already associate  certain numbers with a special meaning. There are many common sayings and  superstitions across all cultures that are associated with numbers. 

Numerology deals with the numbers 1 to 9 because these are the numbers that all other  numbers are formed from.

BIRTH FORCE  

The first Core Number in Numerology is the Life Lesson Number. This is also referred  to as the Life Path Number, Birth Path Number and Birth Force Number. This is obtained by adding up all the numbers of your date of birth and then reducing it  to a single digit. 

This number shows you the strengths and lessons you are to learn in this lifetime.  While this is different from your Path of Destiny, which refers to what you need to do in  this lifetime, your life lesson can help guide you in your choice of a career. 

It is important to remember that we are here to develop this aspect of ourselves. We  are not born with the qualities of this number but with the potential. In fact, we all  approach our Life Lessons from a state of imbalance and throughout our lives we will often  fluctuate between balance and imbalance. It’s a work in process that is lifelong. And that’s okay 

In addition to the Life Lesson Number, there are 4 other numbers of significance: 

Heart Number This describes your real personality. Your deepest desires and can give clues to past lives.  This is derived from your birth name. It is also called the Heart’s Desire. 

Personality Number  This shows how the world sees you and what they expect of you. 

Destiny Number  This is what you must do in this lifetime. what you came to manifest, This can help in your choice of career(s). 

Personal Year  This is a temporary vibration lasting from one birthday to the next. It helps identify trends for a specific year. Some Numerologists calculate this number from one birthday to the next, while others calculate it from January 1 to December 31 of any year. 

Personal Month & Personal Day Once you know your Personal Year Cycle you can continue to break it down to a month by month analysis. This will give you more detail about how your year plays out on a shorter timeline. 

These numbers provide a valuable tool for self-understanding and  self-empowerment.

Knowing someone’s Life Path Number can enhance relationships by understanding  others and knowing their motivations both on a personal level, and in the workplace.
