Much Ado about Nothing

Some of my best thoughts (in my opinion) come to me in those wee minutes between awake and asleep.
I was pondering Zero one night. The number, that is.
Nothing, half of infinity; it has the same meaning upside down or right side up.
It has the ability to convert any other number to zero OR infinity, depending on whether it is multiplying or dividing into that number.
On a number line, zero is that dividing point, that neutral territory between positive and negative. Put another way, zero is neither positive or negative.

The Tarot Fool is zero; first stepping out on a journey with absolutely nothing and yet potential for everything.
The oval zero is also a symbol of the World egg in card 21, The World. Like the Goddess within the egg, it represents all that is; everything with potential for nothing, for the World leads naturally to the next card, The Fool.
Two sides of the same coin.
Did I say zero is half of infinity? Half of infinity is still infinity.
